93 points James Suckling: "This is a deliciously yellow-fruited chenin with grilled pears, yellow nectarines and some buttered toast on the nose, with hints of sourdough. Touch of wild flower. Full-bodied, vibrant and creamy with a long and fresh finish. Drink or hold. (10/24/23)"
92 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2022 Never Been Asked to Dance is whole bunch pressed, fermented in barrel and aged for ten months in a 600-liter Stockinger barrel. The lovely bouquet offers yellow plum, peach skin and hints of passion fruit laced with jasmine, beautifully defined and focused. The palate is very well-balanced; this cuvée picked earlier to retain the acidity, which really comes through in terms of tension. There's just a twist of sour lemon on the finish. Excellent. Drink: 2025-2040. (Nov 2023)"
