Producer notes: "Bright red cherry aromas sit alongside blood orange, cedar, bay laurel and Asian spice notes. The wine is quite sophisticated, not showy, but classic with vibrant red fruits then blueberry notes and fresh rosemary and thyme elements. The palate is simultaneously deep and layered yet sleek and pure, with obvious concentration and textural depth. An edge of fresh red apple appears on the finish bringing intensity and focus to the lingering complexity. Drink between late-2024 and 2030. 410 cases produced."

Crushed red berry fruit, sage, mint, lavender and a good dose of whole cluster savoriness all meld together in a vibrant, delineated Pinot that hits all the right notes. The 2021 is going to need at least a few years to fully come together, but it is tremendous, even in the early going. It is one of the more gracious, lifted wines in the range. The 33% whole clusters work so well here. Drink: 2025-2036."
