96 points Lisa Perrotti-Brown (The Wine Independent): "The 2021 Pinot Noir Wildrose Estate saw 1/3 whole-bunch fermentation. Pale to medium ruby-purple in color, it sashays out with glamorous notes of juicy raspberries, violets, garrigue, and Sichuan pepper, plus wafts of fallen leaves and wild sage. The medium-bodied palate is graceful and refreshing, with a light chewiness giving interest to the silken texture and vibrant red berry layers, finishing long and savory. This is an estate leased vineyard, planted in 1999 to Dijon clones. pH 3.58, ABV 13.5%, 287 cases made. Alcohol 13.5%. Drink: 2025-2038. (7/2/23)"
96 points Erin Brooks (Wine Advocate): "[$115 list] The 2021 Pinot Noir Wildrose Estate Vineyard is the 20th anniversary bottling of this cuvée. "This is the first vineyard I ever planted, in 1993," winemaker Andy Smith says with a smile. Vinified with about one-third whole bunches, it has a pale ruby color and loads of aromatic layers: wild berry fruit, tangerine peel and cinnamon unfold to nuances of aniseed and wildflowers. The light-bodied palate is silky and seamless, with incredibly concentrated fruit and a very long, flavorful finish. It could use 2-3+ years in bottle to unwind. Drink: 2024-2034. (6/15/23)"
