The level of fruit succulence here is quite dramatic. This is a delicious version of an intriguing and hyper-local Iberian red grape and wine style. Deep dark purple fruit aromatics: bramble, sweet cassis and blackberry. Complex notes of cocoa, licorice and crushed stone add detail. Floral notes—violet and lilac—bring lift. The palate is generous and layered throughout with natural juiciness and energy. Supple broad tannins fold into the wine’s succulent fruit core and the wine finishes with menthol and thyme flavors. Serve at 62F and drink between late-2023 and 2026. 170 cases produced."
