They make a good wine together." Forty-eight percent of the blend comes from Hyde Vineyard and was harvested on September 1, just before the record-breaking heat wave around Labor Day. Grapes from the eight-year-old, Montrachet-selection vines at Hudson were harvested on September 5, just after the heat began.
