93 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "The village-level Morey from domaine-owned parcels is a stark contrast with the négociant wine, with lovely, ripe mulberry fruit, a bit of smokiness from the cask ageing, and notes of rose petal and mineral. As you might expect, there is a bit more heft than in the Chambolle, more density, and a bit more grip. The grapes come from a total of nearly three hectares in lieux-dits that include Les Herbuottes, Les Porroux, Clos Solon, and Le Village, all picked on 25 - 26 September. Drinking Window: 2025-2045. (Nov 2022)"

90-92 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "TThe 2021 Morey-Saint-Denis Village shows the stem addition slightly more conspicuously than the Chambolle-Village, white pepper and touches of bay leaf. The palate is medium-bodied with fine grain tannins, lightly peppered black fruit with notes of tobacco and dark chocolate towards the finish. This gains complexity in the glass. Promising - quintessential Dujac. Drink: 2025-2038. (Jan 2023)"

91 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com) (2023).

90 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "As is the case with the comparison of the domaine version versus the négoce version of the two Chambolles, the domaine’s own bottling of Morey AC is also a bit more reserved in personality today. However, with a bit of coaxing, the wine offers up a lovely bouquet of plums, red and black cherries, chocolate, dark soil tones, pigeon, a nice touch of stems, woodsmoke and cedar. On the palate the wine is bright, full-bodied and complex, with a good core, fine soil inflection, fine-grained tannins and a long, balanced and classy finish. Good juice in the making. 2031-2065. (Nov/Dec 2022)"
