The bouquet is pure and again, quite black fruity this year, offering up scents of dark berries, black cherries, gamebird, woodsmoke, dark chocolate, a bit of spicy new wood and a lovely base of soil tones. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied and quite elegant in personality, with a good core, fine transparency and a long, suavely tannic and vibrant finish.
