97 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "The domaine owns two parcels of Clos-St-Denis: 1.1ha down the slope from Ponsot and 0.37ha in the Lieu-dit Calouère. Here, the cold maceration and whole cluster fermentation have produced a wine of immense concentration, with lovely dark fruit character of a floral cast and considerable substance on the palate, which is ripe and weighty, yet still very fresh. This shows superb elegance and breed; discreet, yet absolutely marvellous quality. Drinking Window: 2024-2049. (10/24/20)"

97 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2019 Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru is performing superbly in bottle, soaring from the glass with scents of cherries, red berries, rose petals, orange peel and exotic spices. Full-bodied, ample and sensual, it's seamless and complete, with a velvety attack that segues into a vibrant core of fruit, concluding with a long, perfumed finish. (1/20/22)"

94-97 points Jasper Morris, MW: "Rich powerful purple, with a densely heady nose too, the 2019 Dujac Clos St-Denis wears its heart on its sleeve in exuberant style. Some stems come up behind the floral peonies and vivid sweet red fruit to add in the structural relief. (Nov 2020)"

96 points/'Outstanding +,' Steen Öhman (Winehog): "The Clos Saint-Denis is for me the wine of the vintage at Dujac, although the Clos de la Roche is the bigger wine. The nose of the Clos Saint-Denis is perfumed and refined, and I find different types of roses – pink and dark red – along with hints of lilac; a symphony of perfume! It’s a mineral-driven wine, with perfect, effortless power. What can I say? A hedonistic treat. Drink from 2035. (6/29/21)"

94-96 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2019 Clos Saint-Denis Grand Cru has a succinct and almost understated bouquet with tea leaf and light dried blood/ferrous aromas tincturing the brambly red fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with fine delineation, beautifully judged acidity, very refined with a touch of cracked black pepper that enlivens the sustained finish. Maybe it does not possess the bravura of the Clos de la Roche, but still a beautiful Clos Saint-Denis. I would not be surprised if it lands at the top of my banded score. Drink: 2024-2048. (Dec 2020)"

94 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a 1.48 ha parcel). A markedly floral and strikingly elegant nose freely offers up notes of dark raspberry, anise, tea and a hint of earth. There is a highly beguiling texture on the beautifully well-detailed flavors that possess lovely density if not the same sheer scale as the Clos de la Roche though the mouthfeel is clearly finer, all wrapped in an equally sneaky long finish. While clearly built to repay longer-term cellaring, it's not so compact that it couldn't be reasonably approached after 5 to 7 years of age. Drink: 2034+. (Jan 2022)"
