98 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Bright medium red, with a heavenly heady bouquet. There is a covering of fine sweet fruit up front then more structure behind, defined by both tannins and acidity. Yet the style of the fruit is even more majestic than in the Clos de la Roche. And wonderfully persistent! This just grows and grows in the glass. (Nov 2017)"

95-97 points Antonio Galloni (Wine Advocate): "The 2010 Clos St. Denis is downright explosive from the first taste. An exotic melange of dark cherries, plums, minerals and cloves are all supported by insistent underlying minerality. The wine continues to grow in the glass, as layers of flavor fill out its broad-shouldered frame nicely. Blackberries, cassis, menthol and licorice flow through to the textured finish. This is a breathtaking effort. It is also a wine for the very patient. Anticipated maturity: 2025-2045. (Feb 2012)"

96 points Fine Wine Review: "Magnificent from top to bottom is the only way to describe the 2010 Dujacs... The Clos Saint-Denis could turn out to be one of the very great examples from this vineyard. Although still relatively closed, the wine shows pure red and dark fruit with the spices that recall Vosne-Romanée, and no shortage of tannin. Again, I’d look to 2023-2060 for best drinking. (Issue #141; 2014)"

95+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The inherent elegance of Clos St. Denis would seem the perfect vehicle for displaying the refined beauty of the 2010 vintage, and this is of course the case with the Domaine Dujac version this year. The utterly pure and stunning nose soars from the glass in a mélange of cherries, blood orange, strawberries, raw cocoa, a brilliant base of minerality, mustard seed, orange zest and a deft framing of cedary wood. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and stunningly soil-driven, with a sappy core, great intensity of flavor and a dancing backend of tangy acids, fine-grained tannins and magical length and grip. Utterly brilliant wine. 2020-2075. (Nov/Dec 2011)"

95 points Stephen Tanzer (International Wine Cellar): "Medium bright red. Pungent, high-pitched aromas of raspberry, blood orange, cocoa powder and flowers; a real essence of Burgundy. Juicy but youthfully imploded; showing less volume than the Clos de la Roche, but its purity and penetrating tangy quality are remarkable. Subtly sweet, delicate and spectacularly perfumed, finishing extremely long and juicy, with a very firm spine of acids and tannins. In a distinctly more feminine style than the Clos de la Roche, but this still calls for a minimum of ten years in the cellar. (Mar/Apr 2013)"

95 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a 1.48 ha parcel). This was initially noticeably reduced but aggressive swirling coaxes out a nose that is even more floral still with a pungent violet and rose character to the very fresh spice and earth-inflected fresh berry fruit aromas. There is beautiful subtlety to the detailed, refined and admirably pure middle weight flavors that possess a velvety, even plush mouth feel, all wrapped in a perfectly balanced and harmonious finish where the supporting tannins are remarkably fine-grained. This is really lovely stuff, indeed it is textbook Clos St. Denis. Drink: 2025+. (Jan 2012)"
