96-98 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2023 Clos de la Roche Grand Cru is much more rich and extravagant on the nose than the Clos Saint-Denis. Red plums, redcurrant and light rose petal scents are joined by potpourri with aeration. The palate is medium-bodied with plush tannins and a fine bead of acidity. This is a lavish and sensual Clos de la Roche with an almost crystalline finish. Outstanding. Drink: 2028-2052. (Jan 2025)"

95-98 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "A clear deep ruby purple. There is an impressive quantity of pure refined deep raspberry fruit with a touch of graphite and the traditional blueberry from this site. The fruit is beautifully judged and it follows smoothly across the palate, with fine-grained tannins and adequate acidity. (Nov 2024)"

96 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2023 Dujac Clos de la Roche is beautifully red fruity in personality this year. The wine’s aromatic constellation is utterly refined, offering up notes of red plums, red and black cherries, gamebird, raw cocoa, a very complex foundation of soil tones, woodsmoke, mustard seed and cedary oak. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, complex and shows off stunning depth of fruit at the core, with fine soil signature, ripe, seamless tannins and impeccable balance on the very long, extremely promising finish. Great juice. 2040-2100. (Jan/Feb 2025)"

96 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "Graphite, blood orange, black cherries and vanilla bean offer a generous nose. The palate is unusually soft, welcoming and fleshy—a reflection of the vintage, but it's wrapped in feisty tannins that don't worry Jeremy at this stage. There is a wholesomeness that does suggest this will come into its own in due time. (2025)"

93-96 points/'Don't miss!' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a 1.95 ha holding in 5 different climats). Here the expressive red and dark pinot fruit-suffused nose is once again wonderfully floral, indeed it's perfumed with a similar hint of dried orange peel. The punchy and powerful medium weight flavors are not especially concentrated yet there is a robust and decidedly tannic quality to the equally long finish that is already impressively complex. This is potentially great but be prepared to be patient. Drink: 2041+. (Jan 2025)"

94-95 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2023 Clos de la Roche Grand Cru is lovely, offering up complex aromas of dark berries, cherries, vine smoke, spices and orange zest. Medium to full-bodied, layered and concentrated, it's deep and fleshy, with an open-knit, giving profile and a long, saline finish. (1/30/25)"
