97 points Tim Atkin, MW: "Always among the outstanding examples of this Grand Cru, this dense, aromatic Pinot comes from a 1.95 hectare holding. Concentrated, structured and compact, this is smoky, firm and complex with aromatic oak, subtle whole bunch spice and sinewy tannins. 2021-32. (2016)"

96 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "In contrast to the Charmes, the 2014 Dujac Clos de la Roche was in fine spirits and showing enormous potential. The brilliant bouquet offers up scents of cherries, red plums, pomegranate, gamebirds, superb soil tones, woodsmoke, raw cocoa and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied and very suave on the attack, with a sappy core, fine transparency and a very, very long, fine-grained and elegant finish. A great vintage of Clos de la Roche from the Seysses family this year! 2025-2080. (Nov/Dec 2015)"

96 points Decanter: "Lifted summer pudding aromas with sweet spices, a velevty texture and bramble finish. A huge wine offering both intensity and elegance with huge potential to develop and to mesmerise with age."

95 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2014 Clos de la Roche Grand Cru puts in a convincing performance. With brambly red berry fruit on the nose, the coolness of the growing season allows the mineralité of this to really shine, with time in the glass revealing hints of autumn bonfire/fireside hearth. The palate is beautifully structured. It's saline with darker fruit than the aromatics. Quite linear and what you might call "vertical" in style, this is a superb expression of the Grand Cru that still needs a bit of time in bottle. Drink: 2027-2050. (Jun 2024)"

94+ points Stephen Tanzer (Vinous): "Healthy full red Compelling soil-driven scents of raspberry, coffee, underbrush and smoky minerality Wonderfully rich, smoky and deep but also with the vintage's sappy, floral lift to its raspberry and strawberry fruit flavors Perhaps best today on the extremely long finish, where the tannins are refined but substantial and will still need considerable patience A beauty in the making Drink: 2026-2039. (Mar 2017)"

94 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "This is markedly more restrained with its reluctant but distinctly floral aromas of brooding dark berry fruit, earth, sauvage and hints of dried herbal tea. There is excellent volume, concentration and imposing power to the big-bodied flavors that deliver plenty of minerality and outstanding persistence on the robust and austere but balanced finish. This classically proportioned Clos de la Roche is indisputably going to require extended keeping. Drink: 2031+. (Jan 2017)"
