95 points Jasper Morris, MW: "The Dujac Charmes-Chambertin is a blend made form 0.31ha in Charmes itself and 0.39ha in Mazoyères-Chambertin. A pale to mid crimson red. Effortlessly perfumed thanks to the whole bunch vinification approach, the only wine in the line-up to use this technique predominantly. Strawberry and fresh cherry, good acidity, just a few tannins, a most delicious, interesting and complex wine. (Apr 2023)"
95 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The bouquet is pure and simply outstanding in 2017, offering up scents of red and black cherries, black plums, a very complex base of soil, gentle meatiness, woodsmoke, raw cocoa and cedar. On the palate the wine is full-bodied, deep and rock solid at the core with sappy fruit, excellent focus and grip, fine-grained tannins and a very long, soil-driven and complex finish. I am not sure I have ever tasted a better young vintage of Charmes-Chambertin from Domaine Dujac. 2027-2075. (Nov/Dec 2018)"

94+ points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2017 Charmes-Chambertin Grand Cru is showing brilliantly from bottle, bursting from the glass with aromas of sweet cherries, cassis, orange rind, spices, black truffle, espresso roast and rich soil tones. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied, fleshy and mouthfilling, with a layered and nicely concentrated core, ripe tannins and succulent acids, concluding with a long and expansive finish. Drink: 2025-2045. (1/9/20)"
