94 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "As readers know, I have a soft spot in my heart for Domaine Dujac’s les Gruenchers, as it consistently hits a lot of the sweet spots on my palate. The 2023 version is going to be a beautiful wine, as it delivers a refined aromatic constellation of red plums, cherries, gamebird, chalky soil tones, raw cocoa, vanillin oak and a lovely floral topnote redolent of roses. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and sappy, with great soil signature and grip, fine-grained, buried tannins, and lovely bounce on the long, seamlessly balanced and complex finish. Great juice. 2037-2085. (Jan/Feb 2025)"

92-94 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2023 Chambolle-Musigny 1er Cru Les Gruenchers is showing especially well, bursting with aromas of cherries, raspberries, orange zest and cinnamon. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and pure, it's sensual and fragrant, with a vibrant core of fruit and a saline finish. (Jan 2025)"

91-94 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "A small plot with great pinot quality from 1930s, where they take their cuttings for massal selection. 100% whole bunch vinification. Glowing purple with an exquisite bouquet. The ripeness was very well judged here. A fine depth of deep red fruit, slightly lactic from the oak at the back, the stems very prominent so for the time being a dry patch which will be swallowed by the fruit. The old vines ripened later in 2023, which was helpful. (Nov 2024)"

91-94 points/'Sweet spot/Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .33 ha parcel of 50+ year old vines). A more subtle application of wood easily allows the ripe and ultra-floral-suffused aromas of dark raspberry and spice to be appreciated. The delicious if barely medium weight flavors possess a sophisticated mouthfeel while displaying a subtle minerality on the balanced, complex and sneaky long finale. This is firm yet elegant and a wine that should age on its impeccable balance. Drink: 2035+. (Jan 2025)"

91-93 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2023 Chambolle-Musigny Les Gruechers 1er Cru follows the 2022, a wine I could not quite fathom out last year. This has a comparatively leafy bouquet where the stem addition is more conspicuous, especially following the sensual Charmes-Chambertin. The palate is fresh and medium-bodied with firm tannins and a keen line of acidity, although this Chambolle will require time to subsume those stems. This is quite fine, but patience is required. Drink: 2028-2044. (Jan 2025)"

92 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com) (2025).
