97+ points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2010 Dujac Bonnes-Mares is another absolute tour de force. The deep, pure and stunning nose offers up scents of red and black cherries, red plums, raw cocoa, gamebirds, mustard seed, wonderfully complex soil tones and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, pure and sappy at the core, with a great signature of soil, ripe, seamless tannins, tangy acids and brilliant length and grip on the still quite reserved, but magically delineated finish. This is such an amazingly refined and balanced example of Bonnes-Mares that it will likely last forever. 2023-2100. (Nov/Dec 2011)"

95-97 points Antonio Galloni (Wine Advocate): "The 2010 Bonnes-Mares boasts gorgeous energy and precision in its aromatics. Sweet red cherries, flowers, mint and spices are some of the nuances that flow from this elegant, refined Bonnes-Mares. The theme of finesse is woven throughout this sleek, engaging beauty, while some of the wilder notes that are at times present in the wine seem tamed, at least today. Anticipated maturity: 2020-2040. (Feb 2012)"

96+ points Fine Wine Review: "Magnificent from top to bottom is the only way to describe the 2010 Dujacs... The Bonnes-Mares was impressive but difficult to describe because it was very reduced when I tasted it from bottle. I have faith, though, that it will prove to be a truly outstanding wine. (Issue #141; 2014)"

96 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "A perfumed and ultra-elegant nose that is discreet, pure and very cool gives rise to restrained notes of essence of red pinot fruit, rose petals, lavender, violet, stone and earth. There is outstanding richness and drive to the powerful and seriously intense broad-shouldered flavors that possess superb mid-palate density as there is an impressive abundance of dry extract, all wrapped in a linear and massively persistent and wonderfully refined finish. Despite all the size, weight and taut muscularity, the supporting tannins are actually on the refined side and the 2010 Bonnes Mares will very likely go down as one of the more distinguished vintages for this highly storied wine. Note though that like all of the Dujac 2010s, this will require significant cellar time. Drink: 2027+. (Jan 2013)"

95 points Stephen Tanzer (International Wine Cellar): "Good full red. Very reduced on the nose. Large-scaled, broad and thick; at once sweet and savory, offering an extraordinarily mouthfilling character. Musky red fruit and spice flavors come across as cooler than those of the Clos de la Roche and Clos Saint-Denis. This seriously structured wine is very restrained today and will need 10 to 12 years to absorb some of its baby fat and gain in clarity. (Mar/Apr 2013)"
