94 points Christy Caterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "Red cherries, dried cranberries and baked raspberries create a big fruit sensation on the nose. Furry tannins and integrated acidity give the palate a gentle, curvaceous feel, which is surprising for one of Beaune's "power mode" Premier Crus. There is vibrancy and vinosity from first sip through the long finish. These were previously part of the Domaine Newman holdings. (2024)"

91-93 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2022 Beaune 1er Cru Grèves is rich and dramatic, offering up aromas of dark berries, licorice, sweet spices and loamy soil, followed by a medium to full-bodied, supple and concentrated palate with a generous core of fruit framed by powdery tannins and succulent acids. (1/18/24)"

89-92 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .40 ha holding). Ripe aromas of various red berries and earth are trimmed in almost imperceptible wood. The rich, delicious and nicely vibrant medium weight flavors display focused power on the balanced, long and firm finale. I like the texture though more depth would make this more attractive. Drink: 2029+. (Jan 2024)"
