94-97 points Fine Wine Review: "Stony, pure, nose with smell of fresh earth. Round, pure, long, rich, elegant, silk texture. Vineyard planted in 1960. (1/30/25)"
94 points CellarTracker.com community score.
91-94 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(80% from Clos de la Roche proper and 20% from Fremières where the two total .40 ha). A completely different, brooding and reticent nose grudgingly reveals its combination of poached plum, black cherry, earth and violet scents. The succulent and caressing but decidedly powerful larger-scaled flavors coat the palate with dry extract that also helps to buffer the dusty, firm and tightly wound tannins shaping the lingering finish. In the context of the 2023 vintage, this is a big wine. Drink: 2035+. (Jan 2025)"
