93 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "Mont de Milieu is one of the slightly warmer microclimates in the roster of premier crus and this served it well in the vintage of 2023. The wine was really showing beautifully at the time of my visit, offering up a deep and vivid bouquet of apple, tart orange, wet stone minerality, dried flowers and a lovely topnote of citrus peel. On the palate the wine is crisp, full-bodied, complex and nicely snappy in personality, with a lovely core of the beautiful fruit of 2023, excellent mineral undertow and grip, a fine spine of acidity and a long, complex and impeccably balanced finish. This is really very, very good in 2023! 2025-2050. (Jan/Feb 2025)"

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "(Always some of the earliest vines to grow and harvest. Two parcels, one very old that was pulled out in 2017. Also, a part that is a contract. 2 vineyards contributing – an older and a younger. ‘Bought in 2013 – at that time we could afford it and we were actually allowed to buy it!’ In 2023 – 13°). That’s got a very attractive aromatic – so pure, yellow citrus clarity here. So panoramic in the mouth – that’s got a vibrant personality and many flashes of complexity. Also saline, finely textured and zesty in style. I think that this could be a great one – a long finish that talks as it vibrates! (Jan 2025)"
