94 points James Suckling: "This is complex and layered, with spiced cherries, aged tangerine peel, crushed spices and nutshells. Some licorice notes. Medium- to full-bodied, structured and polished with a firm backbone of very fine tannins and earthy undertones. Lingering finish. Drink or hold. (4/15/24)"
93 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2022 Pinot Noir 'regular' bottling from Domaine Drouhin is really a pretty young wine, coming in at 14.1 percent octane and offering up a lovely combination of sappiness and transparency. The very refined bouquet wafts from the glass in a mix of cherries, sweet beetroot, woodsmoke, gamebird, a lovely base of soil tones, a gentle hint of youthful stem tones and a deft framing of cedary oak. On the palate the wine is bright, full-bodied, focused and complex, with a lovely core of red fruit, fine soil inflection, fine-grained tannins and lovely balance and grip on the long and vibrant finish. This is going to be an excellent vintage for this iconic bottling of Oregon pinot noir, but it deserves some cellaring time to blossom properly. 2034-2075. (Jan/Feb 2024)"
