91-94 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "Slightly more prominent wood influence can be found on the slightly bright and more citrusy aromas of white orchard fruit, roasted nut and an array of floral wisps. Once again, the medium weight flavors are very generously proportion yet retain solid delineation thanks to the firm lemon-tinged acidity that maintains the balance on the solidly complex and highly persistent finale. Quite full on the nose, with a little warmth as well as body, then brought back in to a beautiful finish. Good acidity. A little tension behind, needs time. The bouquet is bright, precise and utterly classical in profile, delivering a mix of apple, pear, a touch of passion fruit, salty, chalky soil tones, almond and vanillin oak. On the palate the wine is pure, full-bodied, ripe and racy, with fine mid-palate depth, lovely focus and grip and most impressive backend energy on the long, complex and beautifully balanced finish. 2022-2050.
