96 points Tim Atkin: "This has a pronounced roasted, fumée nose with smoked meat, barbecue spices and crushed graphite. Underneath it, there are pomegranates and blackberries aplenty. Zingy acidity, sappy tannins and excellent energy keep this feeling lively and poised. A large portion of their holdings are in the process of being replanted, but the remaining vines still average an admirable 60 years. (Jan 2024)"

92-95 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "20% whole bunch, 80% new barrel. Half the vineyard is pulled out at the moment. Middling purple. The nose is racy and lively, with a fresh red berry vivacity that suggests a higher proportion of whole bunches. Some grip at the back, no more than medium density. Drink from 2032-2038. Tasted Nov 2023."

93 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "This approachable, supple wine has an appealing black cherry and rose petal aroma with hints of ginger and spice. The texture is silky and refined, less massive than the Clos de Bèze but rounder and more immediate. The grapes come from 0.52 hectares in the lieu-dit En la Chapelle; they are given a cold soak and then fermented with 40% whole clusters, with punching down gently by foot only as needed before ageing in cask (80% new). Drinking window 2035-2065 (May 2023)"

(92-93) points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2022 Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru shows promise, unfurling in the glass with aromas of sweet berries and cherries mingled with notes of orange zest, spices and peonies. Medium to full-bodied, layered and concentrated, with supple tannins and lively acids, it's produced from climat En la Chapelle. (Jan 2024)"

91-93 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "from a .52 ha parcel in En La Chapelle. A more much floral-inflected nose freely reveals its aromas of ripe plum, exotic spice and soft game wisps. The sleek, vibrant and utterly delicious medium weight flavors that possess very fine volume before terminating in a relatively austere, compact and built-to-age finale. Drink 2032+ (Jan 2024)"

(90-92) points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2022 Chapelle-Chambertin Grand Cru has quite a perfumed bouquet, very floral, with incense aromas percolating through the red berry fruit. It just needs a little more mineralité. The medium-bodied palate has firm and slightly obdurate tannins, somewhat lactic in style, with hints of mocha towards the finish. Moderate length. Fine. Drink 2027-2042 (Jan 2024)"
