94-97 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Pale lemon colour. The power is immediately apparent on the nose, but in a good way. A wine for longer elevage before bottling and then worth the wait in bottle thereafter. This has all the expected volume of white fruit while retaining impeccable balance. Adds depth with time in the glass, before reaching quite a saline finish. A very youthful but impressive Clos des Mouches. I recently enjoyed a stunning bottle of the 2017, and this could very well match it in due course. (Nov 2021)"

96 points James Suckling: "So much ripe mirabelle with nuances of honeycomb, candied citrus, vanilla bean, licorice and more. Stunning concentration with everything balanced on a pinhead. The underlying structure is enormous, but beautifully integrated in the rich and full body. Bright and pure finish that extends a really long way out. From biodynamically grown grapes. Drink or hold. (8/8/22)"

96 points/'Cellar Selection,' Wine Enthusiast: "[$225 list] On the nose, the wine is intensely floral with a touch of underripe white peach, further tossed in a bowl of fresh citrus and cut apples. A creamy texture coats the palate, along with fresh almonds. This richly elegant and balanced expression finishes with great length and vibrancy of lemon zest. Alcohol 13.5%. (Nov 2023)"

94 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "Every time I drink Clos des Mouches Blanc, I think of Sean Connery, as this was his absolutely favorite wine in the world. He would have loved the stunning 2020 version. The nose wafts from the glass in a refined mix of fresh lemon, pear, a touch of beeswax, a beautiful base of chalky soil tones, acacia blossoms, vanillin oak and that signature Clos des Mouches note of gentle savory elements as a topnote. On the palate the wine is vibrant, ripe and full-bodied, with an excellent girdle of acidity, admirable depth and grip, fine mineral drive and a long, poised and very, very classy finish. Lovely juice. 2026-2055. (Nov/Dec 2021)"

94 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "Refined yet vigorously complex with citrus tang, sprinkles of spice and fresh oatmeal, this is a beautifully delineated Clos des Mouches. The 25% new oak is finely crocheted into the smoothly-textured mid-palate. Thirst-quenching acidity focuses the moderate-bodied wine but seems to ring the edges of the round mid-palate rather than cutting straight through it. 2022-32. (2022)"

92-94 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2020 Beaune 1er Cru Clos des Mouches Blanc (Domaine) wafts from the glass with aromas of honeyed pears, freshly baked bread, buttery pastry, Meyer lemon and baking spices. Medium to full-bodied, ample and enveloping, its textural attack segues into a fleshy but vibrant core of fruit and a long, saline finish. (Jan 2022)"

93 points Bruce Sanderson (Wine Spectator): "[$225 list] Pure and elegant, this white has a lacy texture infused with floral, lemon, honey and subtle baking spice aromas and flavors. Caresses the palate, with a seamless profile from beginning to end. Shows fine length. Drink now through 2030. 300 cases imported. (2023)"
