95 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Fine mid lemon colour. An opulent yet charming bouquet. Significant grapefruit aspect to the palate, so that the wine comes across noticeably leaner than the bouquet suggested. The bouquet purifies admirably, a light melon note, fresh ripe lemons, quite a complex finish. Leaves one thirsty for more. (May 2024)"
94 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2020 Chablis Vaudésir Grand Cru has a tightly wound, stony bouquet that gradually unfurls in the glass. This is nuanced, but there is real complexity here. The palate is nicely balanced with a lightly spiced entry. Thanks to the hot summer, it is slightly viscous on the mid-palate, yet it retains sufficient freshness and tension on the finish to tempt you back for more. This is a well-crafted Chablis Grand Cru. Tasted blind at the annual Burgfest tasting. Drink: 2025-2045. (Jul 2024)"
94 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "Open and eager to please, this wine's aromas pop from the glass. Pear, yuzu and baking spices are complemented by flinty, struck match notes and a whiff of toasted oatmeal. There is serious tang on the back palate, giving this excellent aging potential. This comes from two parcels at opposite ends of the Grand Cru—from the southern side is a parcel near the entry and from the northern side is a parcel at the back of the valley. (Jan 2025)"
93 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Exhibiting notes of sweet white peach, spring flowers, hazelnuts and pastry cream, Droin's 2023 Chablis Grand Cru Vaudésir is medium to full-bodied satiny and suave, with a quintessentially elegant, textural profile. It's even more expressive and aromatic than the 2022, despite its more recent bottling. Drink: 2025-2043. (Mar 2025)"
