97 points La Revue du Vin de France: "With Grenouilles, we gain in richness: the nose exudes aromas of apricot, drawn from old vines. On the palate, there is a pronounced fruity concentration, underpinned by a precious mineral strength and balancing spices. This is undoubtedly the most exuberant grand cru in the series. (2026)"

94 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "This has an attractive nose of chlorophyll, white pepper, white nectarine and loads of kitchen spice. The palate is fine, firm and tangy with excellent fruit density. Benoît says these are "ancient" vines—most are over 70 years old, and the parcel has never been replanted. They sit in the upper portion of the cru, giving this its extra edge of freshness. (Jan 2025)"

92-94 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Vinified with 50% wood which marries with the spicy qualities of Grenouille. White clay gives the muscle, along with the age of the vines which were mostly planted in 1947. There are sweeter notes to the fruit, slightly reminiscent of Roussanne. The rich white fruit avoids the tropical and there is a commendably long finish. Never a shellfish wine, Grenouille can be enjoyed with seafood in a creamy sauce or indeed meat dishes. (Jun 2024)"

93+ points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Aromas of honeyed orchard fruits, peach and butter pastry introduce the 2023 Chablis Grand Cru Grenouilles, a full-bodied, layered and unctuous wine that's generous and enveloping. As usual, it's one of the more gourmand, textural wines in the range. Drink: 2027-2043. (Mar 2025)"

93 points Bettane & Desseauve Guide (2026).
