95 points Peter Moser (Falstaff): "Light yellow-green, silver shimmers, fine lively mousse. Delicate scented nuances of white pear, a hint of orange zest, blossom honey and subtle hints of hazelnut, attractive bouquet. Juicy, complex, finely expressive underpinned by elegant acidity, minerality and a hint of yellow tropical fruit on the finish, very good length, good ageing potential. (11/22/18)"

95 points Yohan Castaing (Wine Advocate): "The 2008 Brut Grande Sendrée is showing superbly today, evoking aromas of ripe orchard fruits, brioche, marzipan, spices, confit citrus and beeswax intertwined with delicate notes of honey with air. Full-bodied on the palate, this Champagne is concentrated and perfectly balanced, rich and textured with an elegant mousse and frame of bright acids. It has a delicately phenolic, singular mid-palate and concludes with a long, chalky finish. This blend of 55% Pinot Noir and 45% Chardonnay, sourced from a single parcel in Urville, was matured for seven years sur lattes and disgorged with a dosage of five grams per liter.. Drink: 2024-2044. (10/24/24)"

94 points Wine Spectator: "[$120/750ml list] Very minerally on the nose, with brine and smoke accents leading to flavors of cassis, mandarin orange peel and dried white cherry on the buoyant, creamy mousse. Bright and harmonious, with a rich, lasting finish of toast, chopped hazelnut and spice. Disgorged May 2015. Drink now through 2028. 100 cases imported. (12/15/16)"

94 points Wine Enthusiast: "[$120/750ml list] This ripe wine offers great balance between the rich, structured Pinot Noir and the mineral Chardonnay. From a very fine vintage, it reveals intense flavors, layers of ripe apple and a taut texture that promises further aging. The wine can be drunk now, but it will be so much better from 2018. Alcohol 12%. (Dec 2016)"

93 points James Suckling: "A step up on the previous release (2006), this has good punchy, assertive and focused style to it with ripe lemons and peach fruits, some blueberry pastry, plenty of autolysis and honey. The palate's smooth and dense, has impressive phenolic shape and drive, and balances neatly through the finish. Drink now and for 5+ years. (10/7/16)"
