91 points Jeb Dunnuck: "[$35 list] There are four Sauvignon Blancs from Dragonette. Starting with the 2019 Sauvignon Blanc Happy Canyon, it's a blend of the single vineyards and was brought up in neutral oak and stainless steel. This light gold-colored effort offers a pretty perfume of tart peach and crushed citrus as well a touch of white flowers and spice, medium-bodied richness, nicely integrated acidity, and a clean finish. It's a softer, more supple, textured beauty geared for drinking over the coming 2-4 years. Drink: 2020-2024. (10/31/19)"
Producer notes: "The wine is a blend of grapes from three top vineyard sources: Grassini (60%), Vogelzang (34%) and Grimm’s Bluff (6%), with a total of 9 separate and distinct blocks represented in the final blend. The site diversity provides complexity to the wine which was fermented and aged for 7 months in oak barrels (73%) and stainless steel (27%). Bright, floral and energetic with striking aromatic intensity and depth, making it immediately appealing, but with the ability to age on its impeccable balance."
