94 points Stephan Reinhardt (Wine Advocate): "Pure, precise and bright on the nose, with delicately flinty and spicy aromas, the 2021 Oberhäuser Brücke Riesling Spätlese is a fabulously piquant and stimulating Spätlese with mineral intensity, complexity, grip and tension, as if there were electric wires in this wine. It's enormously vital and stimulating. 8.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted at the domaine in July 2022. Drink: 2022-2050. (Aug 2022)"
94 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The 2021 Oberhäuser Brücke Riesling Spätlese from Weingut Dönnhoff is gorgeous on both the nose and palate. The bouquet is pure and complex, wafting from the glass in a mix of apple, passion fruit, slate minerality, orange blossoms, a touch of honeycomb, wild yeasts and a topnote of apple pie spices. On the palate the wine is medium-full, precise and zesty, with a lovely core, beautiful transparency and grip, snappy acids and laser-like focus on the long and perfectly balanced finish. This is lovely, old school Spätlese. 2023-2075+. (Mar/Apr 2023)"
