94 points Stuart Pigott (JamesSuckling.com): "Complex and vibrant, with a slew of floral (think honeysuckle and wild rose) and spicy aromas, this is a really exciting medium-bodied dry riesling. Terrific drive and energy push this over the palate at a brisk clip, but behind this is a deep crushed-rock character that pulls you into the extremely long and bright finish. Drink or hold. (8/1/24)"
92-94 points Ulrich Sautter (Falstaff): "Brilliant in colour and wonderfully pure in aroma. Aromas of Meyer lemon, wet slate, young apricot and green apple. On the palate there is a slender minerality, highly precise fruit with crystalline dryness. Ideal acidity. Compliments for this unconditional maturation. Alcohol 12.5%. (11/11/24)"
92+ points Stephan Reinhardt (Wine Advocate): "Cultivated in red sandstone in a south-facing VDP.Erste Lage vineyard, the 2023 Roxheimer Höllenpfad Riesling trocken opens with a deep, pure, clear and intense, well-concentrated and savory bouquet with stony and herbal notes that are greenish or even grassy and earthy and also phenolic notes. Round and juicy on the palate, with a touch of sweetness, this is a charmingly elegant and fruity Riesling with gentle acidity but a linear mineral finish and aftertaste. Still young, this 2023 should be cellared for at least another three years or so to get the best of it. 12.5% stated alcohol. Natural cork. Tasted in October 2024. Drink: 2027-2045. (10/31/24)"
