95 points Luis Gutiérrez (Wine Advocate): "The 2023 Dominio de Anza Selección de Parcelas was selected from different lieux-dits on clay soils (Rapolao, El Val, El Agro, El Couso and Barrediños), one from sandy soils (La Tejería) and others on slate and granite (El Souto and El Cascallo). It fermented in stainless steel and oak vats of different sizes with a variable part of full clusters and matured in 500-liter barrels and 2,500- and 3,000-liter oak vats. It comes in at 12.1% alcohol (12.5% on the label) with a pH of 3.5. It's very young and has an herbal-fresh side to it, more Cabernet Franc-like if you will, with a floral twist and with very fine-grained tannins. It's beautifully textured and stony, very round, fresh and young. 14,000 bottles were produced and filled in September 2024 and April 2025. (07/10/25)."
95 points Joaquín Hidalgo (Vinous): "The 2023 Selección de Parcela is a Mencía from Valtuille in Bierzo. This has 12.3% alcohol. It opens with a highly floral expression of violets and roses, both delicate and expressive, over a backdrop of pomegranate and fresh plum. The palate benefits from its light body and fresh character. Joyful and lifted, this represents a modern expression of Valtuille. (09/25)."
