94 points Charles Curtis MW (Decanter): "Aromas of ripe apple, apricot and quince lead into a dense and waxy texture that still avoids heaviness to deliver a discreet, almost delicate finish. Manager Paul Delorme explains that there is nearly a metre of clay here, 'like the Clos de la Baronne but on the hill.' It is a lovely wine but almost the complete opposite of the racy style of Les Vireuils, with more richness and depth. In Delorme's view, you should cellar this for 10 years to see the full expression of the site. Drinking window 2027-2050 (May 2024)"

(92-94) points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2022 Meursault Meix Chavaux is more defined than the Les Vireuils, with scents of wild fennel, citrus lemon and broom. It blossoms in the glass but never gets over-excited. The palate is fresh on the entry with fine tension, one of Roulot's most elegant 2022s with a persistent, lightly spiced, lemongrass-tinged finish. Excellent. Drink 2026-2048 (Jan 2024)"

(90-93) points Jasper Morris (Inside Burgundy): "Pale lemon colour. A pure white fruit, on the nose, only the faintest sign of reduction. Some tannic tension at the back, a delightful concentration of pure white apple fruit. Some of the vines date back to Guy Roulot’s birthyear, 1929. Drink from 2028-2034. Tasted: October 2023."

(90-92) points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Unwinding in the glass with notes of white flowers, citrus zest, crisp green apple and fresh mint, the 2022 Meursault Meix Chavaux is medium to full-bodied, ample and textured, with a suave, charming core of fruit that's girdled by bright acids. Jean-Marc Roulot also elected to vinify and bottle separately 500 liters of wine from this climat derived from vines planted in 1929, which exhibit more density and cut. (Jan 2024)"
