94-96 points Ulrich Sautter (Falstaff): "Tangerine and a hint of reductive notes. Rather more citrus fruit than stone. A trace of roasted coffee. After some aeration roasted hazelnut can be detected too. On the palate there is great homogeneity, a gentle drive in the build-up, which leads into a persistent plateau phase, ripe acidity, measured phenolics, very powerful, and a finish that has a somewhat astringent minerality. A powerful, almost mighty wine. Very dense finish that almost requires one to masticate. Very salty. (Dec 2020)"

93.5 points CellarTracker.com community score.

92-94 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2019 Meursault 1er Cru Porusot is promising, bursting with notes of pear, white flowers, citrus zest, fresh bread and vanilla pod. Medium to full-bodied, satiny and concentrated, it's lively and enveloping, deriving entirely from the domaine's holdings in Porusot Dessus as Roulot's holdings in the lower part of the cru weren't yet back in production after replanting. (Jan 2021)"

92-94 points/'Sweet spot/Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(in 2019 this is 100% from Porusot Dessous as the vines in Dessus have been replanted though the 2020 version will again have both). Restrained if overtly spicy green fruit, acacia and lemon rind aromas complement the detailed, powerful and concentrated bigger-bodied flavors that brim with sappy dry extract that does a fine job of buffering the very firm acid spine supported the very dry and citrus inflected finish. This tautly muscular effort is quite tightly wound, and I would describe the 2019 version of the Porusot as more refined than usual. Drink: 2034+. (Jun 2021)"

93 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2019 Meursault Les Porusot 1er Cru has a very intense nose. Crushed rock and almost flinty aromas, with light pressed flower and orchard fruit develop with time in a tensile style. The palate is vibrant, poised and focused, taut and fresh with an arresting saline finish that lingers in the mouth. Superb. Drink: 2023-2040. (Oct 2021)"

91-93 points Jasper Morris (Inside Burgundy): "From 20 year old vines, in the lower part only - the upper part comes back in play in 2020. Pale green tint, a little bit of almond paste, curious, but complex, racier behind, but the flesh is taking the upper hand. (Oct 2020)"
