92-94 points Josh Raynolds (Vinous): "Dark ruby. Potent mineral- and smoke-accented cherry, boysenberry and garrigue scents pick up a sexy incense nuance as the wine opens up. Sweet, seamless and penetrating on the palate, offering intense red and blue fruit, spicecake and lavender pastille flavors and a hint of smoked meat. Concentrated yet light on its feet, playing power off finesse with a smooth hand and finishing impressively long, sweet and youthfully tannic. I'd happily lose this wine in the cellar for a while. (Sep 2017)"

91-93 points Joe Czerwinski (Wine Advocate): "The tank sample of Domaine du Cayron's 2015 Gigondas looks to be excellent. Not only does it show the vintage's ripe fruit in the form of red plums, stone fruit and supple tannins, it still retains fine details like wisps of fennel, cracked pepper and a long, licorice-tinged finish. Drink this slightly warm, full-bodied wine from release through 2025. Drink: 2017-2025. (Oct 2017)"

91-93 points Jeb Dunnuck: "[$46 list] Not yet bottled, the 2015 Gigondas offers the classic, wild perfume of the estate with notes of basil, leafy herbs, plums, and pepper all soaring from the glass. Like the 2016, it’s a ripe, rounded, beautifully concentrated effort that’s going to keep for a decade. (10/19/17)"

92 points Tim Atkin, MW: "70% Grenache, 15% Cinsault, 14% Syrah, 1% Mourvèdre. No destemming, aged in foudres for at least 12 months. A distinctly herbal, earthy, almost truffley style. Full-bodied, with plentiful sous-bois character and soft, rich fruits. This has multiple aromatic registers, which bodes well for development. 2017-2024."

92 points and 'Best Buy,' Wine & Spirits: "Sisters Delphine, Cendrine and Roseline Fauraud run this estate at the base of the Dentelles de Montmirail, pulling their wines from about 20 parcels scattered around the appellation. They fermented this wine as whole bunches using ambient yeasts, then aged it in old foudres, producing a vivid Gigondas. It smells like sun-warmed cherries and plums as well as garrigue; it feels breezy and languorous, both fresh and ripe, the kind of red you could drink all evening long. (Oct 2018)"
