90-92 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2023 Savigny-lès-Beaune les Peuillets 1er Cru has a far more sophisticated and nuanced bouquet with strawberry pastilles, Morello cherries and crushed limestone scents. There's plenty of energy here, with the 20% whole bunch lending a light pepperiness. Slightly attenuated toward the finish, I suspect it will fill out by the time of bottling. Drink: 2026-2040. (Jan 2025)"

90-92 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "An even fresh red to ruby colour, with additional concentration on the palate, darker fruit, a lovely balance with the acidity. Picked earlier, and beautifully constructed. Nothing meagre here, the Savigny Peuillets fills the mouth with a lot of charm to the final perfume. (Oct 2024)"

89-92 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "An exuberantly fresh nose freely offers up its blend of black cherry, poached plum and a floral top note. I very much like the texture of the lightly stony medium-bodied flavors that conclude in a bitter cherry pit-inflected finish. This needs more depth but I like the balance so more should develop in time. Drink: 2030+. (Apr 2025)"

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "Wider again, not so deep but with more vibration. Much larger scale but more airy volume, less overt intensity – but deliciously detailed in the finish. Wide and perfumed at the last… Just a hint more tannic structure right at the end… This was the first harvested at 11.5°, chaptalised to 12.2… (2/17/25)"
