96 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "David Croix's 2022 Corton Grèves was particularly successful — he reported picking some of the grapes at 14.7% potential alcohol. There is an intense mulberry and pomegranate fruit aroma with hints of earth and spice; the tannins are firm but not astringent, and the rich extract carries the wine to a lingering finish. The grapes come from just over a half-hectare of vines in the centre of the climat that run the length of the slope. They are partially destemmed and gently fermented on native yeasts before ageing in cask (one-third new). Drinking Window: 2027-2055. (11/2/23)"

92-94 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "Scents of orange zest, cherries, petals and berries preface the 2022 Corton Grand Cru Les Grèves, a medium to full-bodied, deep and concentrated wine that's lively and sapid, with serious structure to burn. It's built for the cellar. (Jan 2024)"

92-94 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2022 Corton Grand Cru Greves contains 15% whole bunches this year. This nose has a mixture of redcurrant and cranberry fruit, crushed stone and light rose petal scents. The palate is medium-bodied with filigree tannins, effortlessly balanced - you can barely tell the 14.7% alcohol. It fans out wonderfully on the finish. Velvety and sensual. Drink: 2026-2048. (Jan 2024)"

91-94 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Picked on 1st September and already at 14.7% This has a big bold purple colour, and stays exceptionally large scale throughout. Very heady in its brambly fruit, with the raft of tannins which are always in the Grèves continuing to do their thing at the back. Punchy enough all round. This vineyard may need that extra degree of ripeness for the fruit to balance the tannins. (Oct 2023)"

91-94 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "Here the nose derives more from the red side of the fruit spectrum with earthier and more sauvage-inflected aromas. The generous and rich yet entirely serious broad-shouldered flavors flash excellent power and ample minerality on the dusty, austere, compact and impressively long finale. This is a classic Corton that is going to need at least moderate cellaring. Drink: 2034+. (Apr 2024)"

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "Wonderful complexity but this nose remains much quieter, smaller and restrained. Hmm, more cushion – still only a couple of mm – but a fuller wine – I prefer the more open visibility of the structure of ‘Saint’ but this is a very impressive wine – the first with some real finishing bitters. (1/10/24)"
