92-94 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2023 Beaune Pertuisots 1er Cru shows a little reduction on the nose, but it is armed with pretty blueberry and raspberry fruit that blossoms in the glass. The palate is beautifully knit, pure and refined, with vivacious Morello cherries, crushed strawberries and a silky texture toward the finish. Excellent. Drink: 2027-2045. (Jan 2025)"

91-93 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2023 Beaune 1er Cru Pertuisots is dense and impressively concentrated in a vintage where that's far from the norm, offering up aromas of cherries, cassis and rose petals, followed by a medium to full-bodied, deep and layered palate structured around chalky tannins. (Jan 2025)"

90-92 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "The Domaine des Croix holding is in a little quarry which may explain the difference from other Pertuisots. Part is in young vines on 161/49 rootstock and clones, doing well for the moment, while the old vines provide more classic depth of flavour. An even, medium deep, crimson ruby. Much more stuffing than the other Beaune cuvées. Tasted from a one-year-old barrel, it is showing the oak a little more at the back. From a blend of barrels the extra oak disappears to a fine long finish. (Oct 2024)"

90-92 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "This is aromatically similar to the Tuvilains with perhaps just a bit more fruit that derives from the red side of the spectrum. The mouthfeel of the middle weight flavors is not as dense though it is finer and a bit more mineral-driven as well on the lightly austere, firm and compact finale that isn't quite as complex, at least not yet. Drink: 2031+. (Apr 2025)"

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "(A cool area, with shallow topsoil closer to Pommard.) This is a smaller nose – finely precise but less demonstrative. Ooh – that’s direct, more chalky and mineral. Intense yet relaxed at the same time. Really wide, quite structural texture to finish vs the rest, so far, this needs more time… But it’s clearly going to be an excellent wine – if not an exceptional wine! (2/17/25)"
