94-96 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2023 Beaune 1er Cru Grèves is the king of the cellar this year, bursting with complex aromas of dark berries, rose petals, orange zest, exotic spices and violets. Medium to full-bodied, fleshy and layered, with terrific depth at the core, lively acids and a long, mineral finish, it's worth a special effort to seek out. (Jan 2025)"

92-94 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Mid red, picked very early because in other years the wine has tended to be dark and heavy. This is beautifully perfumed, alpine strawberry aromatics, very lifted, picked at 12% and lightly chaptalised. Good tension at the back, this is really lovely in 2023. (Oct 2024)"

90-92 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "A more floral and earthier nose is comprised by notes of red currant, plum and crushed anise. The sleek, intense and precise medium weight flavors are not particularly concentrated though they do offer fine length on the youthfully austere and balanced finale. This could use better depth so a few years of keeping are in order. Drink: 2031+. (Apr 2025)"

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "(Picked early by a small team.) Ooh – that’s a large width of aroma – really a depth of perfume too. Wonderful melting flavour. A wine of texture, silk-infused, with juiciness but also perfume – what a great finish. A wine of power but finesse… Bravo !! (2/17/25)"
