91-94 points/'Sweet spot/Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "Elegant, cool and restrained aromas of layered red cherry, anise, floral and a whiff of exotic tea give way to super-sleek and strikingly textured flavors that contrast noticeably with the compact, youthfully austere and beautifully long finale. This isn't exactly old school in style but it's unabashedly built-to-age and a wine that is absolutely going to need it. Excellent it is but it's also a wine for the patient. Drink: 2035+. (Apr 2025)"
90-92 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2023 Beaune Les Bressandes 1er Cru has more fruit concentration than the Tuvilains, displaying lovely red cherry and crushed strawberry scents with darker fruit emerging with time. The palate is medium-bodied with fine tannins, lightly spiced with a touch of graphite toward the finish. Promising. Drink: 2027-2040. (Jan 2025)"
Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "What a beautiful perfume – not too intense or broad – beautiful. Mouth-filling but more with a delicate flavour energy, yet still strength – porcelain style – a great Beaune! (2/17/25)"
