91-94 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "Half whole bunch. Medium to bright purple, with some quite attractive mid raspberry fruit. Despite a minor reductive touch this has excellent energy with a fine fresh finish. A lovely long aftertaste, spicy yet showing the freshness of the fruit at the same time. (Oct 2023)"

91-94 points/'Sweet spot/Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "An appealingly fresh if decidedly brooding nose grudgingly offers up its array of violet, anise, lilac and range of dark berry scents. The beautifully textured mouthfeel is a combination of volume, punch and refinement while exuding a touch of minerality on the youthfully austere and impeccably well-balanced finale. This is excellent. Drink: 2032+. (Apr 2024)"

91-93 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The 2022 Beaune 1er Cru Bressandes is pure and ethereal, wafting from the glass with scents of raspberries, rose petals, spices, blood orange and raw cocoa. Medium to full-bodied, ample and suave, with lively acids, melting tannins and a saline finish, it's a lovely rendition of this first-rate hillside terroir. (Jan 2024)"

92 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "This high-elevation parcel delivered a beautiful wine in 2022, with forward blackberry fruit, hints of lavender, spice, and a firm saline minerality, giving it a balance that almost recalls the Côte de Nuits. The texture is elegant and very fine, but there is enough substance and grip to suggest that the wine will age well. The grapes are from a 0.88-hectare parcel; they are partly destemmed and gently fermented on native yeasts before ageing, mainly in used casks. Drinking Window: 2027-2055. (11/2/23)"

90-92 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2022 Beaune Les Bressandes 1er Cru has a fragrant bouquet with vivid red berry fruit, crushed stone and flint, the 50% whole bunches simpatico with the fruit. The palate is medium-bodied with a slightly more lactic entry, white pepper and a hint of dark chocolate. Soft landing on the finish. This will be approachable in its youth but has the substance to age well in bottle. Drink: 2026-2038. (Jan 2024)"

Bill Nanson (Burgundy Report): "The nicest aromatic so far in terms of volume and balance between the fruit and flowers. The sweetest fruit too – not too sweet – but it’s more overt. So, a wine of sucrosity but fine, mouth-watering flavour and clarity to the fruit. Keep the faith – wait 5+ years!! (1/10/24)"
