91 points John Gilman (View From the Cellar): "The vines in the Clos des Chézeaux were previously leased out to the Berthaut family in Fixin. This vineyard lies right next door to the Clos du Château parcel that is now farmed and made by Domaine Rousseau. This is still quite young, as are all of the Domaine des Chézeaux samples I tasted, but it shows excellent promise. The bouquet is quite black fruity in personality, offering up scents of cassis, black cherries, dark soil tones, coffee bean, woodsmoke and a nice touch of cedar. On the palate the wine is deep, full-bodied, precise and ripely tannic, with a very good core of fruit, fine soil undertow, tangy acids and a long, youthful and promising finish. Good juice in the making. 2033-2070. (Jan/Feb 2025)"
88-91 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "A cool, brooding and reticent nose only grudgingly allows a brief glimpse of it dark berry and very earthy scents. The delicious and vibrant medium weight flavors conclude in a firm, serious, youthfully austere and rustic finale where the only nit is a hint of warmth. Drink: 2030+. (Jan 2025)"
