93 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "The vineyard takes its name from a previous owner, Sergeant Robignot, in Napoleonic times. It lies on a vein of blue marl which may explain its individual character. Mid crimson ruby in colour, la Robignotte is classically perfumed, all in cherries, delivering a gorgeous intensity right from the start, just a little white pepper behind, then comes another wave of the cherry fruit. 40% whole bunches as this is the first year. Effortless, harmonious and digeste, as the French describe things – digestible in English doesn’t do the wine justice. (Dec 2023)"

92+ points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "From a small monopole in Corgolion named in honor of one of Napoleon's veterans, the 2022 Côte de Nuits-Villages La Robignotte Monopole unwinds in the glass with aromas of sweet cherries, red berries and peonies, followed by a medium to full-bodied, lively and perfumed palate that's suave, seamless and complete. This is clearly set to be a highlight of Thiriet's portfolio in the years to come. Drink: 2025-2040. (10/19/23)"

In the beginning, Thiriet's production was admittedly small, complemented by purchasing a few local grapes. She wisely decided to focus on the Côte-de-Nuits Villages, providing her with a broad understanding of Burgundy's extraordinary potential. In 2016, only 2000 bottles emerged from her garage, vinified without water or electricity. With the help of Bernard Noblet from Domaine de la Romanee Conti (who has now retired and helps Camille on a friendly basis), and Jeremy Seysses of Domaine Dujac, she goes to serious people to help her in the early years.
