WHWC Staff Notes: "(100% chardonnay, disgorged April 2023, 3 years on lees, dosage 8 g/L). Pale gold in color. Aromas of white flowers are complemented by hints of apples and pears. Freshness on the palate;, crisp and vibrant, with hints of Meyer lemon on the finish. Drinking great right out of the bottle, but actually showed better after some time in glass. (2024)"

Airy and cool aromas are comprised by notes of pear, apple and citrus rind along with hints of brioche. The palate impression of the middle weight flavors is equally cool and precise as the refined mousse is borderline foamy while there is good if not truly special depth on the lingering, dry and refreshing finale. This is drinking well now, and I would observe that it drinks a bit drier than the stated dosage would suggest. Drink: now+. (Jan 2022)"
