94 points Tyson Stelzer (The Champagne Guide): "(tasted in 2023 in France; roughly 33% chardonnay, 33% pinot, 33% meunier; 100 wines from 20–30 crus across the Marne; 2019 base vintage with 45% reserves from 2018 and 2017; aged 2.5 years on lees; disgorged September 2022; 8g/L dosage). The purity and generosity of 2019 are in a happy place in the elegant Deutz mood, in a beautifully precise and enticing style. the generosity of the season lends nuances of fig and pear to its classic core of apple and lemon, becoming strawberry and red cherry with time in the glass. Three years on lees has brought an eloquent backdrop of brioche, spice and honey, building a gently creamy texture. It holds impressive length, integrity and appeal. (Edition VII; 2024)"

93 points James Suckling: "Very attractive nose of lemon blossom, tarte au citron and lemon curd. Very elegant and delicate with an inner strength that doesn't make this at all loud. I love the interplay of the fine mousse and citrusy fruit on the medium-bodied palate. Long finish with subtle spicy notes. 39% chardonnay, 31% pinot noir and 30% pinot meunier. Based on the 2019 vintage with 53% reserve wine. Drink now. (7/3/23)"

92 points Wine Spectator: "Graphite and mineral hints underscore the ripe and appealing notes of white cherry, nectarine, pomelo and pickled ginger on display in this bright, elegant version, with a finely detailed mousse. Pinot Noir, Chardonnay and Pinot Meunier. Drink now. (9/2/24)"

91 points/'Le Coup de Coeur,' La Revue du Vin de France: "Brut Classic asserts its full, vinous style, with delicate bubbles. (2024)"

90 points Wine Enthusiast: "[$60 list] The wine's dosage is finely balanced with the ripe fruits and textured fruits. This bottling is just the right age, poised between crispness and a more toasty edge. Drink this beautifully controlled Champagne now. Alcohol 12%. (Dec 2022)"

90 points Audrey Frick (JebDunnuck.com): "A vibrant silver/straw color, the NV Champagne Classic Brut is a charming introduction to the range from Deutz, taking on a dewy and springy style, with aromas of honeydew melon, guava, fresh lily, and wet stones. Medium-bodied, with an energetic mousse and a clean, refreshing lift on the finish, its classic aperitif style is welcoming and begs to be enjoyed in its youth. Drink: 2023-2026. (11/17/23)"
