95-97 points Essi Avellan, MW: "42% Chardonnay, 58% Pinot Noir. Deutz created its first Amour de Deutz Rosé in 2006, with its key terroirs including Aÿ, Verzenay and Bouzy for Pinot Noir, and Avize, Chouilly and Villers-Marmery for Chardonnay. The red wine part comes from old vines of La Pelle in Aÿ, as well as Cumaine and Charmont in Mareuil-sur-Aÿ. A result of the combined maceration and blending methods, the colour is super-pale and delicately peachy. The pure nose is a little shy for the time being but already reveals sweet peach and apricot notes perfectly in harmony with the subtle toasty layers. The wine gives more on the palate already, with the fruit shining bright and the vibrant, cushiony mousse bringing a sense of airiness and lightness. It feels almost weightless in all its delicacy. A perfectly pure wine, with crunchy fruit and sophistication. Dosage 7g/l. (Aug 2022)"

95 points Wine Enthusiast: "The prestige cuvée from Deutz, this is just right, from its maturity to the still-vibrant acidity. Memories of the white and red fruits hover over the Champagne, keeping the freshness alive. Drink this wine now. Alcohol 12%. (Dec 2021)"

94 points Wine Spectator: "[$230 list] A mouthwatering rosé, with grace and vitality, this is beautifully textured as well, like a swathe of cashmere on the palate. A streak of minerally chalk and smoke underscores an enticing range of ripe melon, pink grapefruit sorbet, candied ginger and wild strawberry flavors that echo on the juicy finish. Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Drink now through 2031. 1,250 cases made, 20 cases imported. (12/15/21)"

94 points Antonio Galloni (Vinous): "The 2013 Brut Rosè Amour de Deutz is ethereal, gracious and full of charm. Crushed flowers, mint, white pepper and cranberry are all nicely lifted throughout. A fine mousse and notable persistence add to a feeling of refinement. The lighter style here makes me think the 2013 is best enjoyed as an aperitif, and it will make for a great aperitif, that much is sure. Drink: 2021-2031. (Nov 2021)"

94 points La Revue du Vin de France: "Carried predominantly by chardonnay, the pink Amour de Deutz 2013 presents itself as a subtle and relaxed wine. (2023)"
