94 points Tyson Stelzer (The Champagne Guide): "(Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Oger and Avize; 7g/L dosage; 10% reserves; aged 4 years on lees; cork). Delamotte Blanc de Blancs is stunning in the great base vintages, but unfortunately it isn’t possible to ascertain this pre-purchase, as there’s some detective work required in removing the foil, decoding the disgorgement date from the cork and working backwards. Delamotte has captured the flattering and energetic mood of the 2013 base vintage in a compelling and enticing rendition of its NV blanc de blancs. The characteristic struck-flint reduction of the style makes way for crunchy lemon, fresh grapefruit and spicy white nectarine, set against a rising torrent of brioche and nougat. It confidently projects the majesty of its grand cru origins in great fruit presence, lively acid tension and, most of all, the spectacular, fine, frothing chalk mineral structure of Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, concluding with fantastic harmony and persistence. The 2012 base presents gently creamy finesse with poised assurance and approachable grace. (2020-2021)"

93 points William Kelley (Wine Advocate): "The latest release of Delamotte's NV Brut Blanc de Blancs, the house's emblematic bottling, is once again showing very well, bursting with aromas of citrus zest, freshly baked bread, nougat, crisp stone fruit and white flowers. Medium to full-bodied, ample and pillowy, with a fleshy core of fruit, bright acids and a pretty pinpoint mousse, it's a seamless, elegant wine that concludes with a flavorful finish. Drink: 2022-2038. (Aug 2022)"

93 points Falstaff Guide: "Light yellow-green, silver reflections, fine mousseux. Delicate cookie, a hint of yellow peach, fresh apple touch, mineral undertones, some lime zest. Taut, pithy, tightly woven, integrated pomaceous fruit, finesse-rich acidity, very good persistence, shows length and potential. The ideal image of a chalky, mineral Blanc de Blancs.(L208492) (10/6/23)"

93 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "A wonderfully fresh, yeasty and quite citrus-inflected nose speaks of green apple and just a hint of petrol. The pure, intense and utterly delicious flavors carry plenty of aged yeast character that are supported by a firm but distinctly fine effervescence that also shapes the very dry but not austere finish. This is very blanc de blancs in style and offers excellent depth plus it's extremely stylish. For the record this is not a power Champagne but rather one of finesse and refinement. I very much like this plus it could be drunk now or aged for 5+ years if desired. Drink: now+. (Jan 2022)"

93 points James Suckling: "Croissants, toasted sourdough, white pears, acacia and lemon meringue pie. Salty almond notes on the palate. Deliciously saline and creamy, with silky bubbles and a gently toasty finish. 100% chardonnay from Mesnil, Avize and Oger. Based on 2017 vintage with 20% reserve wines. Drink now. (8/7/23)"

93 points Wine Enthusiast: "Based on the Côte des Blancs, the Champagne home of Chardonnay, it's logical that this producer should make a fine Blanc de Blancs. This wine has all the attributes, with crisp apple and a mineral texture that is tightly prominent. This is a fine wine, just hinting at toastiness. Drink now. (Dec 2022)"

92 points Wine Spectator: "[$96 list] A lovely aperitif-style Champagne for the fine mousse and graceful integration of minerally overtones, with lively acidity and notes of Anjou pear, blanched almond, oyster shell and white blossoms. Creamy finish. Drink now through 2026. 1,415 cases made. (11/30/23)"

92 points Audrey Frick (JebDunnuck.com): "The NV Champagne Blanc De Blancs is based on 80% 2017, with 20% reserve wine (a larger percentage that Delamotte has been using over the past several years due to climate change). The wine comes from the three villages of Avize, Oger, and Mesnil sur Oger and pours a pale but bright yellow hue. Expressive on opening, floral aromas as well as notes of poached pear, fresh honeysuckle, almond, and lemon sherbet lift from the glass. Medium-bodied, with a refined mousse, it has even acidity through the palate and has a chalky texture, with a good linear drive through the finish. With 7 grams per liter dosage, it’s attractively balanced and rounds out the palate in a lovely way. It has notable freshness for the vintage. Drink 2024-2034. (11/17/23)"
