96 points Tyson Stelzer (The Champagne Guide): "(tasted in 2021 in France; Les Chétillons, Le Mesnil-sur-Oger; 0.2 hectare parcel on the midslope; disgorged December 2018; 3g/L dosage). Chétillons is one of the most legendary sites on the Côte des Blancs, capable of standing solo more confidently than any other besides Clos du Mesnil itself, demonstrated on countless occasions in the top cuvées of such greats as Duval-Leroy, J.L. Vergnon, Robert Moncuit, Pascal Doquet, and most of all Pierre Péters. In 2012, De Sousa's tiny parcel of just 0.2 hectares on the midslope has emphatically trumped its home turf of Avize. In the presence of the generosity of this season, the ripe style of De Sousa distinguishes this release from its neighbours, an exuberant and rich blanc de blancs with a core of nectarine and peach. It's at this point that this inimitable site exerts its superiority, infusing a resolute focus, impeccable drive and vibrant acid line, charged with heightened, saline chalk minerality that directs a finish of incredible line and length. This chalk mineral grandeur is the magic of Les Chétillons. (Edition VII; 2024)"

95 points Tom Hewson (TimAtkin.com): "Chardonnay from Le Mesnil, vinified in oak. This shows a classical, straight shape with some iodine and set honey development. Amazing energy of grapefruit and ripe lemon oil, meadow flowers and chalk, classically Le Mesnil in its smoky seriousness and concentration. This will cellar well for five years or more, although it has an exhilarating energy right now. (2022)"

95 points La Revue du Vin de France: "The 2012 Les Chetillons from Le Mesnil is the estate's finest wine, but it is still young and needs time to settle down and mature. On the palate, it truly has the character of a grand cru. (2022)"

94 points Claire Nesbitt (JamesSuckling.com): "Attractive, complex nose of jasmine, dried oranges, figs, roasted walnuts and brioche. Some tobacco. It's broad and flavorful with velvety, silky bubbles. Long, nutty and vibrant finish. 100% chardonnay, naturally fermented in used burgundy barrels. From organically grown grapes. Disgorged 2023 with 3g/L dosage. Drink now or hold. (7/22/24)"
