92 points Tyson Stelzer (The Champagne Guide): "(tasted in 2023 in France; 50% chardonnay, 40% pinot noir, 10% meunier; 2019 base vintage; disgorged 11 October 2022; 5g/L dosage). There is grand cru depth and magnitude here, uplifted in the generous and rich 2019 base vintage to heights of ripe fig and even golden fruit cake, with a core of peach, grapefruit, lemon zest and strawberry hull. Fine chalk minerality of great terroirs keeps the finish fresh and lively, perfectly finished with low dosage. Quintessential De Sousa: accurate, engaging and friendly. (Edition VII; 2024)"

91 points Josh Raynolds (Vinous): "(50% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir and 10% Pinot Meunier; 6 g/l dosage): Light yellow-gold. Bright citrus and orchard fruits on the fragrant nose, with hints of jasmine and chalky minerals building in the glass. Plush and seamless but focused too, offering sappy pear and nectarine flavors and a hint of bitter orange zest. Turns firmer on the incisive finish, which shows suave mineral and floral character."

91 points Wine Spectator: "[$59 list] Firm and smoky, with ripe and juicy Honeycrisp apple, mango and raspberry compote flavors, layered with rich hints of pastry and salted butter that linger on the well-cut finish. 1,200 cases made."

91 points James Suckling: "Brimming with red-berry and candied-citrus aromas, this is a charming and rather juicy champagne that should please a very wide range of palates. Rather dry and chalky finish. A blend of 50% chardonnay, 40% pinot noir and 10% pinot meunier, disgorged on February 1st, 2021. From biodynamically grown grapes with Demeter certification. Drink now. (1/5/22)"

Importer notes: "50% Chardonnay, 40% Pinot Noir, 10% Pinot Meunier. A blend of several vintages, fermented in enamel-lined tanks and with full malolactic fermentation. Tasting Notes: Elegant and floral nose is also very expressive and intense, revealing a certain finesse. There's a touch of mimosa, followed by citrus and ripened fruit. On the palate, the Champagne's bright freshness is complemented by notes of warm honey."
