96-99 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "80% whole bunch vinification, a question of tank size. Additional intensity to the purple colour, and just that little bit more luxurious on the nose. It just grows and grows, then the palate is quite a lot richer, even with chocolate notes, plus some darker pepper. Yet the Cuvée Christiane is brilliantly nuanced, waves of flavour, less delicacy at this stage than the regular Malconsorts, but ultimately a sublime texture. Magical persistence. (Oct 2023)"

95-97 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2022 Vosne-Romanée Les Malconsorts Cuvée Christiane 1er Cru has a very different bouquet compared to the regular cuvée, more so than other years: intense black cherries, wild strawberry, crushed limestone/petrichor and dried violets. Excellent delineation - even more crystalline than the regular bottling. The palate is medium-bodied with a creamier texture, gentle caressing with a very faint ferrous finish begging the word...kaleidoscopic. It is a wonderful, multi-faceted Les Malconsorts in which you can easily lose yourself. Drink: 2027-2055. (Jan 2024)"

96 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "This superb wine boasts forward, accessible plum and blackberry fruit with smoke, leather, and spice accents. Given the abundant tannic grip and density here, the texture is silky and supple but lacks nothing in structure or power. There is enough acidity to balance everything and lead to an impressively long finish. The grapes come from the half-hectare plot bordering La Tâche, fermented on native yeasts primarily as whole clusters. This wine should open five to 10 years after release and drink well for at least 20 years afterwards. Drinking Window: 2035-2075. (5/30/23)"

93-96 points/'Don't miss!/Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .48 ha parcel; 90% whole clusters). The expressive nose is aromatically similar to the regular cuvée if perhaps even a bit more floral. The sleek, powerful and concentrated larger-scaled flavors possess a sophisticated mouthfeel while exhibiting outstanding persistence on the overtly austere, compact and altogether serious finish. This is a 'wow' wine. Drink: 2034+. (Jun 2024)"

95 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "Suave and harmonious, this is enchanting with its dynamic perfumes and finely-knit palate. Mind you, there is no shortage of tannin, but it is artfully sculpted and easily absorbed by the wholesome, generous fruit character on the palate. The racy acidity gracefully arches across the back palate, too. Whole bunch spice, summer wildflowers and succulent cherries glide into a long and mineral-lifted finish. (2024)"
