The team has been upgrading this bottling, principally by culling out some of the young vine section and ploughing their entire holding in Malconsorts by horse. The grapes in 2022 were fermented nearly 90% as whole clusters – Brian Sieve relates that he destemmed some of it to get it in the tanks. The wine is superb, super-dense and remarkably aromatic. This wine may open earlier than the Cuvée Christiane; you might try it after five years. Drinking Window: 2035-2075. (5/30/23)"

Taut and fresh on the nose, this offers a mixture of red and black fruit with hints of brine and black olive. There is a crystalline quality to this cuvée. The palate is medium-bodied, fresh and sapid, with black cherries and bilberry fruit, gaining weight towards the finish that exerts a gentle grip. Tightly wound on the finish, this is a very fine Malconsorts, even if it doesn't quite match the heights of the Cuvée Christiane. Drink: 2026-2050. (Jan 2024)"
