96-98 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "90% whole cluster. A ruby edge to the purple colour. A hauntingly beautiful bouquet, brilliant rose petal notes, the lovely fragrance of Gloire de Dijon springs to mind, with the delicacy of really fine red berry fruits. Incredible intensity in such a refined manner, very beautiful long fresh finish. Excellent. (Oct 2023)"

95 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "The 2022 'regular' Malconsorts is a delicious wine, objectively not that far behind the Cuvée Christiane. The team has been upgrading this bottling, principally by culling out some of the young vine section and ploughing their entire holding in Malconsorts by horse. The grapes in 2022 were fermented nearly 90% as whole clusters – Brian Sieve relates that he destemmed some of it to get it in the tanks. The wine is superb, super-dense and remarkably aromatic. This wine may open earlier than the Cuvée Christiane; you might try it after five years. Drinking Window: 2035-2075. (5/30/23)"
93-95 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2022 Vosne-Romanée Les Malconsorts 1er Cru includes 80% whole clusters this year. Taut and fresh on the nose, this offers a mixture of red and black fruit with hints of brine and black olive. There is a crystalline quality to this cuvée. The palate is medium-bodied, fresh and sapid, with black cherries and bilberry fruit, gaining weight towards the finish that exerts a gentle grip. Tightly wound on the finish, this is a very fine Malconsorts, even if it doesn't quite match the heights of the Cuvée Christiane. Drink: 2026-2050. (Jan 2024)"
93-95 points/'Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from a .97 ha holding; 80% whole clusters). At the risk of sounding like a broken record, once again the nose is overtly floral in character with its exuberantly spicy nose of various dark berries, soy, exotic tea and sandalwood. The sleek, intense and delineated flavors are at once refined yet powerful with a taut muscularity becoming more apparent on the dusty, youthfully austere and stony finish that is compact and very serious. Patience. Drink: 2034+. (Jun 2024)"
94 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "This boasts a showy nose with extravagant spiciness from the 90% whole cluster. Blood oranges, forest berries and fresh leather mix in to create a flavor explosion on the palate. Perky acidity gives this good freshness while the stylish tannins caress the cheeks. Structurally, this is more approachable than many of the other wines in this line-up. (2024)"
