98 points La Revue du Vin de France: "The reduction of the Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru Le Cailleret is noticeable, but its juice draws a tense mineral line, with citrus flavors on the zest, supported by a radiant energy. (2026)"

95-97 points Fine Wine Review: "Pure crisp, energetic, penetrating, mineral, ethereal. (3/3/25)"

95 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "Like the Folatières, this shows enough reduction to overshadow the aromas. The palate displays crystalline fruit purity, however, with dashing flavors of pomelo, yellow grapefruit and toasted brioche. This finishes long and crunchy. Be patient! (2025)"

94.5 points CellarTracker.com community score.

94 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "Among the top whites in the tasting, as is often the case. I tasted it twice before bottling; the first impression was that it was richer than the Folatières and dense, with lively acidity and marvellous length. On the second occasion, pronounced lime and ripe pear aromas came into focus, along with a salty, smoky minerality and flinty notes. As Brian Sieve says: 'There is a subtle, dirty attraction that makes you keep going back to it.' I couldn't agree more. Drinking Window: 2030-2055. (Nov 2024)"

92-94 points Jasper Morris MW (Inside Burgundy): "Mid lemon, while the gunflint reduction is slightly masking the fruit at the moment. The crystalline white fruit then surges across the palate with a purity not yet evident on the nose. Some grapefruit helps liven up the finish. Multi-layered. (Oct 2024)"

92-94 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2023 Puligny-Montrachet Les Caillerets 1er Cru has a little reduction on the nose, though that's not enough to disguise the mineralité and energy in this wine. The palate is well balanced and lightly spiced with a fine bead of acidity, remaining sprightly with hints of tropical fruit right on the finish. There is potential for a great Puligny in the making. Drink: 2026-2045. (Jan 2025)"
