95 points Christy Canterbury, MW (TimAtkin.com): "This is a riveting Folatières with all of the delicate white flowers, crushed hazelnuts and sweet yellow plum fruits stuffed into the bouquet. The mouthfeel is graceful with little extract yet caressing creaminess. This is beguiling, balletic and one to set aside for five to fifteen years, if not longer. (2024)"

93-95 points Jasper Morris, MW (Inside Burgundy): "A pale lemon colour, less reductive so the sunny fruit of a quality Folatières can show instead. But there is nothing soft about this as the tension shows at the back. A little mirabelle note to the fruit and a touch of liquorice, with excellent energy. (Oct 2023)"

92-94 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2022 Puligny-Montrachet Let Folatières 1er Cru has a well-defined bouquet with Clementine, Japanese yuzu, and a little chalk surfacing with aeration. It’s delicate at first but blossoms in the glass. The palate is well-balanced with deftly integrated oak (20% new from Damy), good depth, not powerful, but refined. It fans out gently towards the finish with sufficient sapidity to tempt you back for more. This is a fine Folatières in the making. Drink: 2026-2042. (Jan 2024)"

91-94 points/'Sweet spot/Outstanding,' Allen Meadows (Burghound): "(from Ez Folatières). As is often the case, there is a touch of exotic character in the form of pineapple and white peach along with hints of pear and oak toast. The vibrant, delicious and denser middleweight flavors also flash evident minerality on the firm, balanced and markedly more complex finale. Lovely. Drink: 2030+. (Jun 2024)"
