94 points Charles Curtis, MW (Decanter): "A half-hectare acquired by the Château de Puligny-Montrachet from Charton in 1993, in a couple separate parcels, all near Chevalier. The wine is rich and spicy, with aromas of ripe apple and citrus on the attack, then marzipan and butter on the palate. The texture is broad but still balanced by fresh acidity that carries this to a beautiful, lingering finish. Drinking Window: 2024-2039. (10/24/20)"
92-94 points Neal Martin (Vinous): "The 2019 Puligny-Montrachet Let Folatières 1er Cru comes from a single plot of vines and is matured in 30% new oak. This sports a very subtle reduction, allowing the mineral-rich citric fruit to shine. Plenty of energy on the aromatics, and they translate across to the palate. Very well balanced with impressive nerve, this fans out wonderfully. Touches of spice linger in the mouth. Very classy. Drink: 2024-2040. (Dec 2020)"

90-93 points Allen Meadows (Burghound): "Hints of lactic and residual secondary fermentation aromas should clean up once this is prepared for the bottling. On the palate the plump, round and delicious middle weight flavors that flash good minerality on the balanced and palate coating finale. This is awkward but my projected range assumes that it will harmonize once in bottle. Drink: 2026+. (Jun 2021)"
